HS Semester Long Psychology Resources

It's been a minute since I taught Psychology, so I am recreating this class as I go this semester.  Feel free to keep checking back regularly as I will continue to add to it. 

Some units are missing because I purchased items from TpT and I cannot share those for free as they are not mine to share. 

Before you use them, you will want to

1. Go to File and Make a Copy of each file you are going to use.  This will enable you to edit them.
2. Check all links to make sure they are still active and are accessible in your domain.
3. Decide how you want to push these out to your kids.
4. Edit what you need.  There are some slide decks that have been compressed so they are more accessible to students at home.  This means you can't edit the slides, but you can always insert one of your own slides and delete the one of mine you don't want. 


I cannot emphasize how important it is that you check every single link INSIDE your domain to make sure that your students will be able to access the resources. 


All of the files are public on the web, if you click on a file and it asks to request permission, it is because your school domain does not allow you to access files created outside your domain.  If that is the case, you will need to open it with your personal Gmail account and then share it with your school account, and then open your school Drive and go to Shared With Me.

I send the journal to be copied and spiral bound. It is half the width of a piece of paper, so you can two journals out of one spiral binding.

Food Truck Project Resources

As an introduction to our final entrepreneurial competition, we do the Food Truck Project. This enables us to hone the skills we will need for the regional competition in which we innovate our own product or services and do a Shark Tank like pitch, including creating a business plan and trade show booth to local business owners.

Back in 2013 I designed a semester long Digital Leadership course for grades 9-12.  It has evolved over time and now that Digital Citizenship is part of our K-12 curriculum, it has morphed into a Digital Leadership course.  Linked below are past blog posts describing activities as well as my Google Drive folder of activities. 


I added in gold boxes as a cue to the students that they needed to type something on the slides.  I also included tutorials to help students review what their tasks are.

It's almost Regents time!!

21-22 US History Digital and Paper Resources

 Below you will find all of the digital creations I have made for my students this year.  I will update this blog as I make more, but you can also access other US History Resources here and US/Civics/Economics Hyperdocs here.  Additionally, you can access my Digital Leadership Resources here.  Here are my updated Economics slide decks for this year.

The remote only versions have gold boxes.  The gold boxes are the cue to the students they have to put an answer in there based on what the slide is asking them.  If they can't type on the slide, they simply need to insert a text box over the gold box. 

I've included the tutorials that go with the slides for the ones I thought needed one. 

I started putting boxes in the margins of the slides so that kids can add information as we discuss it in class.  I let them choose where and give them a goal.  For example, if there are 5 places for class notes, they have to put information in 3.

Student Handout Note
You can print out the hand out, but I would not, in it's current format, push it out to the students since it will be too small for them to read.  If you need to push it out to them electronically, pull the slides from the teacher slide deck to build what you need.

Teacher Slides Note
These are ready to go. That means they are animated and all you have to do is click present and click through them. They match up to what the students are doing. Test one by clicking through it to see how it progresses. Best practice is to use them in Present mode.
